Duat
Duat is the other world in the ancient Egyptian myths, and some believe that the other world is in the sky and that is why it is distinguished by the stars, and some researchers see the world of the dead for the ancient Egyptians represented in the underworld.
There are rivers, lakes, and swamps in the lower realm of the Duat. Therefore, the souls of the dead are often depicted as traveling through it on boats, as this is evident in the custom of burying wooden boats with the dead kings so that they can ride them on their journey to the underworld.
This symbol was used in Egyptian art to represent the stars. The Egyptians had a good knowledge of the stars and the constellations. They often used this symbol to decorate the temples and the interior of the tombs.
The Egyptians believed that the stars also inhabited the Duat, the Duat is the underworld or the realm of the dead and that they descended there every night to accompany the Sun.
The symbol of a star inside a circle was a way of representing the underworld ( Duat Symbol ).

According to Egyptian mythology, the underworld of Duat is ruled by the god of the afterlife, Osiris (Osiris).
In it, the sun god "Ra" travels every night through Duat during his journey from west to east, where he fights the serpent Abu Phis and allows the sun to rise on the Egyptians for another day.
The main sources about this world from which we derive information about its legends are the ancient Egyptian funerary writings such as the Book of Exodus in the Day (the Book of the Dead), the Book of the Hereafter and the texts of the coffins. Each of these texts gives a different conception of the nature of the world and the journey through it.
According to the religion of the ancient Egyptians, the dead were judged on the Day of Judgment, when their deeds in this world were checked to see if they matched the good qualities (honesty, honesty, helping the poor, not stealing, not being tempted by a worker in front of his subordinates... and other good deeds). Truth, justice and cosmic order.
After the deceased passed by the gods, he had to get to know them and remember their names, then Anubis, the Lord of mummification, took him to weigh his heart in a two-panel scale. His heart (the center of creation and doings) was placed on one hand, and the feather of the truth “Maat” was placed on the other hand, and the writing god Thoth wrote As a result of the scales, if his heart was lighter, he would be among the righteous, and he would be rewarded by wearing beautiful white clothes and buying Ayaru’s estate and fields in which he and his wife would enjoy life in the next world, eating its fruits.
But if his heart was heavier than the feather of truth, then he was in his life bad and sinful, that is, he was burdened with sins and sins, then his heart is taken and thrown to the beast “Ammit” to devour him, and this will be his end and his annihilation forever and he disappears completely from the world and his existence ends and his soul remains tormented forever.
